The Italian violinist

Bio

Stefano began studying music at the age of 5. He was given piano and violin lessons, leading to the completion of his Master degree (violin) and subsequent teaching at the University of Music in L'Aquila (Italy). His international experience has seen study in Spain and Austria. In 2010 he won a European scholarship in order to work as a musician in Madrid, following which he moved to Vienna for further study. In 2014 he successfully auditioned for Southbank Sinfonia orchestra (now Sinfonia Smith Square), participating in all their outreach/educational projects. He has played in many International theatres including Teatro alla Scala, Berliner Philarmonie, Konzerthaus Berlin, Konzerthaus Wien, Auditorio Nacional de Música Madrid, Teatro Teresa Carreño Caracas, Sala Nervi, Romanian Athenaeum Bucarest and under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Riccardo Muti, Lior Shambadal, Luis Bacalov, Zoltán Kocsis, Marco Angius, Luigi Piovano, Alexander Lonquich, Johannes Prinz, Daniele Giorgi, Andreas Weiss, Dorian Keilhack, Matthieu Mantanus and Timothy Brock. Outside of music, Stefano’s interests include physics, cloud architecture (he is a Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and artificial intelligence, having studied at the University of L’Aquila and in partnership with Stanford University.

Teaching

Stefano is a level 4 ABRSM Certified Music Educator (CME). He has an enhanced DBS check and has worked in primary and secondary schools in London for 7 years.

Quartet

The Quartetto D’Ermenegildo performs at high-profile events since 2014. Amongst its clients: Damiani Jewelry, Contini Art UK, Italian Embassy in London, Young Diplomats in London. Private events for: Michail Nikolaevič Baryšnikov, HRH Princess Tessy of Luxembourg, Sophia Vari.

Weddings

Stefano is available for weddings, proposals and private events in Vienna and abroad. He can perform as a soloist, with his string quartet or any desired formation, upon request.
